Improved Applications
Along with these new applications, we also worked on the existing ones.
Calendar
There is now a tooltip on events. If you put your mouse over an event, you can have more informations on this event, without having to open it.
Additionnally, we added an option to start weeks on Sunday instead of Monday, selectable in Calendar Preferences.
Attendees can now be optional or mandatory.
Mandatory ones appear in bold in the user list.
Main Interface
The 'group' combo box is now implemented. It shows all the groups you belong to, and allows you to filter the connected users by their groups.
There is a new 'Windows' menu that shows all opened windows, grouped by application, and let you hide or show them. This uses the new WindowManager API.
Quick Message
You can now send you messages by hitting Ctrl-Enter on your keyboard and close the window with Escape. An audio feedback (blip) has been added.
Send File
Send file has completely changed to be more user friendly. You can now send comments along with your file.
Help Browser
The help browser has been cleaned up. It can be used through inter-application method calls to display a help file from an application. To test this, go into Quick Message and hit F1.
Administration
Non-standalone applications opens a user selection dialog. This let you start the 'kick' application from the administration application.
